Speakers Bio

Natasha provides a service that supports business owners and CEO's of medium sized established businesses based in South Australia. Over 150 member companies are provided access to knowledge & advice from leading experts, access to a like-minded business network, and access to funding and other key enablers. Natasha launched SA Leaders in April 2016.

Natasha leverages her business acumen and extensive connections to provide a customised support structure for business owners and CEO's. In particular she assists companies to achieve sustainable growth, manage succession planning and evaluate entry and exit strategies for their business.

Director, Access India (current):

Natasha Malani is an experienced consultant specialising in international trade with India. She currently runs the consultancy Access India and was the former General Manager of the Australia India Business Council. Natasha is currently a member of the Australia India Chamber of Commerce Committee based in SA.

Her business achievements have seen her exceed targets and instill value into her clients. Natasha was a key player in delivering:


  • South Australian Tourism Commission 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup Dream Team 15 program;

  • South Australia as the destination for the Bollywood film Love Story 2050, which created revenue of $1.3m;

  • A showcase of Adelaide and Tour Down Under at the Tour de Mumbai (India’s first UCI cycling event) with the Lord Mayor of Adelaide.

Chairperson, Zahra Foundation (current)

Natasha became the Chairperson for the Zahra Foundation in November 2020. Since that time the Foundation has doubled in size by revenue, and expanded beyond SA into NSW. Natasha has developed leadership, communication, governance and community sector management skills through this role.

Elected Member, Adelaide City Council (past):

Natasha was an elected Council member for the City of Adelaide in 2010 and re-elected in 2014 for a second four-year term until 2018. Natasha also held the position of Deputy Lord Mayor in 2014-2015. This role developed Natasha's competencies in public sector management, advocacy, lobbying, community engagement and effective communication.

General:

Natasha has excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills, is entrepreneurial and is an accomplished networker with the ability to build strong trusting relationships. She pays attention to detail, executes and delivers effectively in a professional manner.

Natasha is an all-rounder, being able to connect unique opportunities and partnerships.
